When we say long cardigans, this usually pertains to cardigans that have long sleeves. Actually, majority of the cardigans out there are actually long sleeved. However, cardigans which cover parts of the lower body are also called long cardigans by some people. As I have just mentioned, most of the cardigans we see today are long and have a plain design. They’re great when worn inside jackets and over shirts. When the jacket is taken off, the cardigan keeps the necktie aside and serves as a waistcoat that is not too formal.
There are women who have the ability of knitting their own cardigans. They knit the body part as a solo piece in an uncomplicated back and forth style.
